ABOUT

Mississippi native, Auburn McCormick is one of the most captivating independent country artists on the music scene today. Her honest lyrics and clever melodies have garnered a cult following from local audiences. She splits her time between Nashville, TN and Austin, TX, writing and performing.

In her early years, McCormick was influenced by the strong voices of artists such as Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood. Her lyrical influences stem from the raw and down to earth lyrics from artists such as Carly Pearce and Kelsea Ballerini. McCormick’s love of music blossomed at age 15 when she taught herself to play guitar and wrote her first song. She went on to study commercial music at Trevecca University in Nashville.

One of her more popular releases “Black and White Movie” went on to place in the 2020 International Songwriting Competition. Her most compelling artist project to date will be released later this year. Stay tuned!
